We are happy to announce the addition of Esports!!
Esports started in 1998 and has grown in popularity over the last decade. Esports describes the competitive gaming industry as a whole. Along with competitive gaming, Esports participants also follow a skill-building path of marketing themselves, resume building, and other life skills as they aspire to become professional gamers. This program is a well rounded approach to social skills as well as life skills.
Esports has grown so much that it is on the docket to become an Olympic Sport in the near future. Along with that, universities have scholarships available for Esports gamers. And we are lucky to have the SLCC Esports coach as one of our coaches. Our directors are some of the best in the business and are excited to work with your kids.
Games like Fifa, Super Smash Bros, and NBA 2K are being played professionally and now is a great time to get your kids involved with Esports to create friendships, life skills, and so much more.
